In the historic centre, a lovely apartment with two beautiful windows overlooking Castel Sant’Angelo, the Church of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini and the Tiber River. The location is perfect for reaching the major points of interest in Rome, the Vatican and Trastevere. This district starts at the nearby Via Lungara, the road that pilgrims once traveled to go to St. Peter’s.
The apartment is on the first floor of a two story historic building which retains its original external appearance. This recently renovated home is very bright. It is tastefully furnished. There is a living room with a couch and also a single bed within a low stool for a third person; a kitchenette with fridge and everything you need for cooking; a bedroom with a double bed, dresser, closet and ceilng fan; and a bathroom with shower. The ceilings have wooden beams. The apartment is also equipped with a small balcony overlooking the courtyard with a table and two chairs.
Many important museums are only a a short walk away: The Corsini Gallery of Ancient Art, the Botanical Gardens, Castel Sant’Angelo, the Barracco Museum of Ancient Sculpture, The Villa Farnesina (with famous frescoes by Raphael), Museum of Rome at Palazzo Braschi and Galleria Spada (16th & 17th century paintings).

From Termini Station: Take the bus n°40 (7 stops). Get off at Lungotevere in Sassia / S.Spirito. Then, walk up to Piazza della Rovere.
From Fiumicino International Airport: Take the SIT Shuttle Bus. Get off at the “Vaticano” stop on Via Crescenzio 28. Then walk up to Piazza della Rovere.
From Ciampino International Airport: Take the SIT Shuttle Bus to Termini Station at Via Marsala 5. Then, take the No. 40 bus. Get off at Lungotevere in Sassia / S.Spirito. Then, walk to Piazza della Rovere.
