This is a very quiet private residence with a swimming pool surrounded by beautiful cypress trees. It is perfect for those who seek a relaxing holiday in harmony with nature. The structure of the 18th century farm in the center of this property is typical of the Val d’Orcia. Through the centuries, it has been a convent and also a farm owned by known bankers in Siena, the noble Chigi family. You can still see the Chigi family coat of arms on the ground floor in the area that was once horse stables.
For those who love the true Tuscan countryside: peace, silence, cypresses and green meadows, the farmhouse is situated on top of a hill and the view is beautiful: the town of Montepulciano on the left and the medieval village of Montefollonico on the right. In the middle, “perfect” countryside, which has been intact for centuries. On the horizon, you can see the bell tower of the cathedral of Pienza.
Over 20 years ago, an architect created 5 apartments in this farmhouse with unique features and wonderful views. He took special care to keep the original structure intact. My home is on the first floor.

Directions
From the A1 highway:
Coming from the north, exit at Valdichiana, then continue towards Torrita di Siena as far as Montefollonico. For those coming from the south, the exit is Chiusi-Chianciano. After leaving the toll booth, turn first right and then left towards Chianciano \ Montepulciano. When you arrive at Macciano”, immediately turn right following the signs for Arezzo, Acquaviva, Torrita di Siena. Continue until a crossroads. Turn left towards Siena-Sinalunga. Once in Acquaviva, take the direction of Ospedale \ Montepulciano. At the Bivio di Nottola turn right and up to Gracciano and from here continue towards Montefollonico, Via della Madonnina 88. Here will be someone waiting for you who will accompany you until Valdorcia Stonehouse “Piandolmo”
